Angreal

That's right, our new boards are up and running. Some significant changes have been made; as discussed in the 'possible board shift' thread, we will no longer be an exclusively WoT-themed community. Hopefully, this will allow us to diversify, and to carve out a niche not already overrepresented on the net.

I've called the new boards 'angreal,' in deference to our WoT roots. I've also put up an associated website, on which I hope to gather information not just about the Wheel of Time, but about all fantasy series/worlds. The angreal.net boards will be a general fantasy community, though they will retain the same basic structure found here (a three-tiered member ranking system, with Guilds to join once you reach second rank).

I'm hoping everyone here can make the move with us; since we'll be starting from scratch, I'd love to hear any comments or suggestions you have about the new format.

Time and activity spent at Shining Towers *will* count towards your raising at the new boards. Unfortunately, Forumer has a policy of deleting all inactive boards, so if you want to save any particular threads you've posted here, please copy and past them over at the new boards within the next month.
