Elaida!

This really isnt a theory but its discussion. I love Elaida, i think she one of the best characters in the whole series and definetly an important thread in the working of the books.

Without her we would have had no split in the White Tower, which is possibly the best storyline in the book for me. I love the chaptaers with her and Alvarian, where she struggles for control and basicaly gets beaten by her Keeper. I love the feact that she is Red, it just wouldnt work to have her any other Ajah.

I loved Elaida as soon as we met her in Camaelyn, she was just everything an Aes Sedai should be, cool, calm, comanding, powerful! I love her anger and hatred for Siaun and her plotting with Alvarian. I luff Elaida! I loved her in New Spring and felt so sorry for her when she was punished for using the Power on Moiraine and Siaun!

I know most people dont like her but i think Elaida is amazing, i must say she is one of my favourite characters in the books along with Moiraine.

I think she's one of those 'love to hate' characters. I don't 'like' her, but I do think she's one of the better characters in the book; I love bad-but-not-evil people, and the idea of a super-ambitious Red, driven to succeed whatever the cost, and absolutely convinced that she's right. I did like her in New Spring - whether she meant it or not, her ministrations probably made Moiraine and Suian better Aes Sedai - and I was so glad that she finally got the better of Alviarin

Yeah i thought it was great when she got rid of Alviarin as her Keeper, i really hate Alviarin. I love her determination and hope her Fortelling about her being the victor at the end of the Last Battle comes true, i wouldnt want Egwene to succeed as Amyrlin.
