Worst fantasy character

So ... who do you just not like? Who is the most annoying, weakest, or just plain frustrating character in a fantasy series you've read.
I only have one thing to say: Rand. Yes, you're the Dragon Reborn. Yes, it's a big responsibility, and yes, people are going to die because of you. But please, shut up and just get on with it! And I swear, if RJ writes another book like Crossroads, I will personally jump into WoT and smack Rand senseless. |

Agreed. I like Min, if I ignore the fact that she fell in love with a snivelling little sheepherder simply because fate (ie. RJ) told her to.

Rand can be annoying ... but then, so can a lot of people in WoT. I think his characterisation gets worse as the books progress (though, ironically, it's not replaced with plot
 ) |

I think the worst character is Sparhawk from the Elenium. He annoyed me so much, he just did everything right and nothing wrong. I really liked the series but it was too perfect, he always managed to get the villian on time which really annoyed me.

I dunno. Sparhawk wasn't that annoying until he got married. Then it got creepy. He was what.. forty? And she was eighteen?
